    Is this the new face of domestic terrorism? Next on "NOW."

    The murder of Dr. George Tiller has reignited the abortion debate and raised the question: Should violence against medical doctors who perform abortions be viewed and prosecuted as domestic terrorism? On Friday, June 12, at 8:30 PM (check local listings), "NOW" Senior Correspondent Maria Hinojosa sits down with two of the remaining handful of doctors who publicly acknowledge performing late abortions, including Leroy Carhart, a fellow doctor in Tiller's Wichita, Kansas, clinic.

    Carhart discusses his vow to carry on Tiller's mission and what it's like for him and his family to live as "targets." The show also investigates claims that law enforcement dropped the ball when it came to stopping Tiller's alleged murderer, Scott Roeder.

    Hinojosa travels to Colorado as well to talk with Dr. Warren Hern, another late abortion provider, who says he's been living "under siege" for decades. Dr. Hern works behind four layers of bulletproof windows and is now under round-the-clock federal protection.

    "NOW" goes into the eye of the abortion rights storm to see how Tiller's killing and its ramifications are impacting doctors, free speech and a civilized society.

Violence against medical doctors providing legal abortions already IS a federal crime! We must push to have the FACE laws enforced. This is domestic terrorism, plain and simple.

There is no doubt about it; this is a war that these right-wing extremists are waging and the American public has to decide if it will stand against them and demand that laws be enforced or remain silent and allow extremist terrorists free reign to decide what laws we will follow and which we will not. This is a theme that comes up in almost any issue that is examined these days; is this a nation of laws? Conservatives used to claim that they supported law and order. Now that they are unable to control the discourse, the actions, and the religious beliefs of the citizens of this country and the decisions made by government officials, they have become terrorists. The law must be restored before order can be restored. No justice, no peace.

Domestic terrorism is correct - so when is the Government going to crack down on it ? Or.. maybe is domestic terrorism classified as something else for them ? Is there some tiny little clause somewhere that our Government has concocted justifying this type of behavior too ?

when I moved to EU with my children- one of the very first things I was exposed to was a parade of skinheads .. white supremacists.( have only seen 1 of these parades in my life) I loathe what they stand for .. I hate it with every fiber of my body.. of my being.. my kids and I watched from our balcony window as they paraded by with my kids questioned why I was kinda erm cussing under my breath at it all lol.. After I sat for awhile considering my options of what to tell them.. I realized I only had one true course of action- I told them firmly that I disagreed with everything they believed in. BUT I also told them that I would die fighting for their right to be in that parade. Our personal freedoms- are worth more than anything on this earth - if we lose those .. what are we left with ? We must stand up for these rights..

When will these right-wing extremists and pro-lifer fanatics understand that the life of young adults that they are so eager to send into illegal and senseless wars and occupations are certainly more valuable than developing fetuses and embryos? I see no threats against those who initiated the war crimes against Iraq and Afhganistan, i.e G.W.Bush and Tony Blair? Legal abortions are often the only solution for young women who had no choice for one reason or another.

It is true---there is an extremist right-wing movement.They are dangerous for two reasons.They are many and they are all controlled by uneducated opportunists prayin on the faithless whites who live in the minority.I know.I used to be one.Then I grew up and moved out of my small white bread town.The limits of my mind have never been where the county line ends.Humanity can only be one when we educate our children to love one another no matter what and strip ourselves of the burden of religion controlling ones actions.Whether it be for good or evil.WE ALL KNOW THE DIFFRENCE!!
