The future of the Internet is up for grabs. Last year, the Federal 0aCommunications Commission (FCC) effectively eliminated net neutrality rules, 0awhich ensured that every content creator on the Internet - from big-time media 0aconcerns to backroom bloggers - had equal opportunity to make their voice 0aheard. Now, large and powerful corporations are lobbying Washington to turn 0athe World Wide Web into what critics call a "toll road," threatening the 0aequitability that has come to define global democracy's newest forum. In Part 0aIII of our interview, Marc Ash Spoke to Bill Moyers about this important 0aissue.

Moyers on America: "The Net@Risk" airs Wednesday, October 18, on your local 0aPBS station.

Part 2 of my interview 0awith Bill Moyers looks at the second in Moyers's series of 0aOctober specials, "Is God Green?" There's a growing concern among American 0aEvangelicals: global warming. The right wing of American politics may no 0alonger be able to count on Evangelicals to rubber-stamp their 0aenvironmental polices. Moyers had a lot to say about the upcoming 0abroadcast. - ma/TO

Recently I had 0athe opportunity to sit down and chat with Bill Moyers about his surprising 0aOctober documentaries, the state of American journalism, and what 0awe can all do to make a difference. Interesting stuff.

"Capitol Crimes," 0apart one of the series "Moyers on America," follows the 0aAbramoff money trail. If you want to know how Abramoff did it, what part 0aDeLay played, who's getting hurt and who profited - make sure 0ayou're sitting down, and watch "Capitol Crimes," airing October 0a4th on PBS. This documentary is sobering.

Parts two and 0athree of my interview will examine the second and third broadcasts 0ain the series, "Is God Green?" airing October 11th, and "The Net 0aat Risk," airing October 18th. Stay tuned. —Marc Ash
