I applaud the Sheriff! When is Mexico going to wake up and suggest birth control!!? Since the USA has been a nation, Mexico has dumpped millions of excess population every year. We're in a recession and can't handle it. Mexican children who are born here are still Mexican. If they are conceived in Mexico, they are Mexican!!! They should take count of the slave labor they need and stop at that. We don't want the millions of excess population and I'd like to see lots more deported back to Mexico. They demonstrate and fly their flag here telling us we're bad--why don't they do that in Mexico?

If Obama and Napolitano are "afraid" of the majority of Americans who want strict border enforcement, that's a good thing. As far as playing the media is concerned -- the huge pro-invader marches of several years back would not have been possible without the cheerleading of the Hispanic mass media. Then imagine how you would feel if your country was invaded and forced to sign a treaty that gave Sherrif Joses’ government 525,000 square miles of land you and your relatives fought and died for. Next, imagine that your people had lived there for a quarter of a century before that treaty, protected by your government and international law. Now, imagine that the same treaty between you and Sherrif Joses’ government protected your property rights but the local government stole your land anyway. Where does the Sheriff get his power? I don't know what the Federal Government is going to do about the Good Sheriff. Sheriffs are Constitutional officers, not U. S. Constitution but State Constitution. The people created the Constitution which empowers the Federal government to protect the people. Also, he Tenth Amendment reserves to the states respectively, or to the people, any powers the Constitution did not delegate to the United States, nor prohibit the states from exercising. The office of sheriff is created by the Constitution of the Great State of Arizona. The sheriff is bound by the oath to uphold the Constitution of the state and answerable only to the people of the county NOT the Federal Government. The office of sheriff IS a part of the checks and balances of the United States of America. It is there to prevent the Federal Government from doing what it is trying to do today. So what is the Federal Government going to do? Amend the Arizona State Constitution? I think not.

Here's a NEW ONE, rhymes w. Numen. OPEN UP THE BORDERS!!! Yes, let the populations free-flow between the U.S, Mexico, & for good measure, Canada. What would happen? There will be a short term rush from Mexico to the U.S. & from the U.S. to Canada. Jobs will be filled by market forces, settle down in our life time to a melding of nations, & life will go on, Border costs & WALLS, [sounds vaguely Berlinesque], will disappear & mimic interstate dynamics. You people are laughable! If you are in the country illegally, then you are an illegal alien! You do not have the constitutional rights of an American citizen.

Next, there are no laws against profiling, it is done everyday in many different ways and it is no excuse for breaking the law by being in the country illegally.
