Kucinich knows better than a

Kucinich knows better than a few of the previous post(er)s that REALITY must be taken into account when pursuing interests. I have no doubt that Biden was influenced by his sons' involvement in the financial industry in some of his decisions. Allegations arising from the recent bankruptcy law are not pretty. Even so, to turn and run away at this point in time is cutting off your nose to spite your face. Obama and Biden will turn this nation toward the right direction even if you don't love them or everything they represent. One right direction Obama speaks of often is the need to make compromises if we are going to begin tackling our problems. Extreme positions, and the actions they engender, lead only to inaction and a LOT of bad feelings. The U.S. is one big boat and we know you can't turn a ship around in one big heave. If all of us would accept that we will never get exactly what we want, we can think about what's really important.

Never seen anything like

Never seen anything like it. Everything he says is true. But all that dancing about makes it too easy to dismiss him as a looney, unfortunately. I'd vote for him and trust him as President more than any of the others, but he quit.

Kucinich speaks truth to

Kucinich speaks truth to power, but he is only tolerated by the Democratic Party. People on the left in America are welcome to cheerlead, but not to help design and build a new economy. For that, people like Joe Biden, the hero of Visa, Mastercard, DuPont, and Delaware are the ones taken seriously. Obama is necessary to our future, but by the time he's finished making compromises, we'll find that the cupboard is bare and that a new draft is imperative. This time, though, the infrastructure, human and physical, can't wait.

His was no exaggeration.

His was no exaggeration.

Hey Truthout, where did all the other comments go?

Well done, Congressman

Well done, Congressman Kucinich!!!! THAT's the Dennis Kucinich I wanted to hear during the presidential campaign. Maybe we'll hear that message again in a future presidential run.

"oh, i agree with everything

"oh, i agree with everything kucinich says. and his answers at the union-sponsored 'debate' were enthusiastically embraced by all who heard before they went and endorsed hillary or obama. he's just not 'presidential,'" and my head explodes. there goes the country's best chance, and the wall-streeet-owned (D) party went with a WHO?! and if their cult of personality-induced Obamagasm wasn't bad enough, we now have the most hawkish, credit card industry and banking system-owned hawk in the (D) party joining the ticket. Dark days indeed! I'm outta here.
