This is the most concise and informative piece of film on the most important issue of our time: the media. And judging by some of the comments on here, people still don't get it. The job of the media isn't to represent the opinions of the left or the right. It's to question the powers that be and to hold them accountable to the people. To the person who wrote "It's the government that should fear the people," you're right. But the people will never be angry enough to change the government if they never hear the truth, only the government's version of the truth. And don't expect to get the truth from Rush Limbaugh.

ABC NBC CBS are not conservative outlets. Right wing radio was created to combat mainstream (Left Wing) media. Almost everything on TV is tilted to the left. almost every paper is WAY left. You can get better news from the Onion. If you don't like Rush change the channel. Americans are not stupid. We don't need the government to shove the counter to Rush down our throats. AM Radio is a success because of the hard lean of the LEFT from almost all the mainstream media. You want to change America then raise your children to be free thinkers and good people. It starts at home not in the government or the media. People should not fear their government . It is the government that should fear it's people.

How do we get the media to pay attention to this? More important, how do we get the media to pay attention to the voting debacle that is going on again in this election. The one that is erroneously labeled on this video, but is very real. Bush and Rove's clan will stop at nothing to destroy this country, but we need to get people to pay attention! The latest is that McCain is taking time out to patch up his faltering campaign. Actually, I think he is tired and losing it. Old men do that. But the Right keeps manipulating our country out from under us. Kennedy is absolutely right!

Wow, in that video, RFK, Jr. really put all the pieces together and therefore is much more knowledgeable about the general field of problems afflicting America than all the presidents of the last thirty years combined. Only an intelligent, evolved America would deserve the gifts he'd bring to all of us if he were our president. Unfortunately, most Americans are just too stupid to know what's good for them. They'd lambast RFK Jr. as a socialist and liberal, if he were to vie for the presidency, against, of course, their own best interests. Oh, well, four more years of Bush in the form of McCain should decidedly destroy what's left of this country. Perhaps, after such suffering, they'll finally get it.

This is an excellent speech on why we are so poorly informed, pegging Reagan's abolishment of the Fairness Doctrine for the use of the public airwaves, etc. Every American should watch this. However, Truthout has either mistitled it, or attached the wrong video, as it is not about Karl Rove planning to steal the election. I hope they will notice, and attach that correct video. Thanks for this one, though! This should be required viewing by everyone!
